Key Holder

Position Description:
The Key Holder is responsible for generating sales and ensuring a cheerful and positive
experience for all customers. He/she will have opening and/or closing responsibilities, as well
as general maintenance of store operations. Associates are expected to demonstrate high
degrees of proficiency with customer service, be able to identify their needs and maximize
sales opportunities. Associates will also be responsible for operational duties such as helping
with shipment, visual merchandising, markdowns, housekeeping, and store maintenance.


      • Achieve and exceed the personal sales and productivity goals agreed upon with
        your store manager
      • Effectively communicate store concept, pricing, layout of store and merchandise selection
      • Demonstrate a proven ability to maximize sales by up-selling, cross-selling and highlighting the product
      • Be a quick thinker who actively listens to the customer and can identify his/her needs, exceed expectations, or overcome objections if raised
      • Assist with opening/closing the store, inventory management, visual merchandising and store upkeep
      • Help maintain the housekeeping and visual standards of the store
      • Proficiency with POS and inventory management systems, as well as various software programs
      • Help safeguard the store’s inventory by adherence to the company’s loss prevention policies and procedures
      • Follow all store operational policies and procedures


  • Qualifications/Experience:
          • Prior experience in retail sales preferred with Key Holder responsibilities
          • Knowledge of the local clientele and market a plus
          • Multi-lingual a plus
          • Proven ability to drive sales and maintain client relations
          • Have a positive, high-energy, friendly, outgoing, and engaging personality.
          • Strong verbal and written communication with a track record of effective communication with clients and colleagues
          • Proficiency with various computer programs, retail POS systems, inventory management systems, etc.
          • Must be able to lift, carry or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 pounds when merchandising the sales floor and use ladders or stairs
